Building mountain strength

Mountain running offers an exhilarating blend of physical challenge and natural beauty, especially when tackling steep climbs and navigating fast, technical descents. To master these aspects, it's essential to focus on specific techniques, draw inspiration from elite athletes, and incorporate targeted exercises to enhance stability and control.

What to Watch

A combination of winter and Level 3 (at time of publication!) lockdown is the perfect time to get your stoke on with some mind blowing outdoor and adventure documentaries. We did a quick round up of five worth tagging. All currently available on Netflix.

So you want to climb?

You might have seen the National Geographic video of Alex Honnold recently. It’s tummy flipping and inspirting all in one.

“Alex Honnold makes the first free solos of the largest walls in North America. He scales 2,000 feet with only shoes and chalk bag—no rope, no safety, and no room for error. Though he's a superhero on the walls, off the rock Alex is a shy, self-effacing young guy living in his van. He's sort of a Clark Kent-Superman character.” – National Geographic
