One of our favourite races to organise is the Helderberg Mountain Challenge (HMC). 
When we were approached in 2010 to organise the event we were very excited and after five years later the race, and our relationship with the Reserve, is growing stronger every year.
As with all the events Wildrunner organises we always try to give back to the Reserves we run in, in order to give back and help maintain the beautiful places we have the privilege of running in. This year we donated R 14 000 to the Friends of Heldberg that will be used to maintain footpaths and signage within the Reserve - something that will come in handy not only for runners of next year's HMC but all other users of the mountain.
The HMC will not be possible without the support and assistance of the Helderberg Mountain Reserve staff and the Friends of Helderberg and we're happy to be associated with this awesome group of nature lovers.
